Print and Rewrite Technologies
The Primacy 2 combines sublimation printing technology for color cards and thermal printing for monochrome cards. In addition to this, we offer you the following opportunity. With rewritable technology on the Primacy 2, you can print on rewritable cards. This feature, available by default on the Primacy 2 printer, allows you to print, erase and reprint the same card up to 500 times in seconds.

The economic and practical benefits of this feature are especially evident when printing temporary cards and badges or cards on which information is regularly updated (badges for visitors, student cards, discount cards, etc.).

No need to choose between quantity and quality
Primacy 2 gives you it all – output power suitable for printing medium and large batches, and high print quality.

Print speeds of up to 280 cards per hour, combined with a 100 or 200 card feeder, are two features of the Primacy 2 that deliver high levels of productivity and autonomy. In addition, the High-Resolution print mode paired with a colorimetric profile that is as close as possible to real colors helps to achieve the highest color quality on any cards.

Easily create your own maps with the level of security you need
From the simplest to the most reliable cards, Primacy 2 is the solution. Customizable graphics (colors, photos, personal data), magnetic stripe coding, use of contact or non-contact chips, holograms, protective laminates, UV effect, etc. You can choose the necessary functions and the level of security depending on your requirements.
Primacy 2 can print any card, from basic to highest security. You can choose the security level according to your needs:

• Encoders: encode contact or contactless chips and magnetic stripes with our encoder modules. Choose one at the time of purchase, or add later while using the Primacy 2.
• UV effect: Apply a UV effect to your cards to make them more secure. You can do this with the special YMCKOO ribbon, as well as with our standard colored ribbon cover layer in combination with the lamination module.
• Double Cover Layer: The double cover layer greatly improves the durability of printed cards. The double layer of lacquer provides improved protection against wear and abrasion, improving abrasion resistance by 3 times (compared to standard YMCKO tape).
• Lamination module: allows you to integrate even more security and protection elements (lacquer, protective film, standard and personalized holograms). You can order the module when you purchase the Primacy 2 or upgrade your printer in the future. The lamination module is an essential element for achieving optimum levels of safety and durability.
• Scanner: The scanner allows you to make sure that all the elements of your card are printed correctly, as well as save the printing history.

The printed data also needs to be protected.
When personalizing a card, personal data is sent to the printer. After printing is complete, this information can be read from the tape. How can I ensure that personal data in printer memory or on ribbon cannot be accessed?

To achieve this, Primacy 2 offers two technologies:

• Kineclipse®: A masking system ensures that sensitive information on the tape is unreadable after printing.
• Digital Erase: Data sent to the printer is automatically deleted from memory after printing.
