The HVO-550MD can store HD or Standard Definition video on its high-capacity internal hard disk drive. Users can select from a menu to record video simultaneously to an external USB drive, network server, or directly burn it onto the recorder’s internal DVD drive. This feature of simultaneous recording saves time by obviating the need to transfer or copy video files to another storage medium post-recording, and it also acts as a safeguard against data loss. As the ideal successor to the DVO-1000MD, it shares the same command set for control via RS-232C or USB, facilitating a seamless transition to a hard-disk-based HD workflow.
The recorder’s compact and lightweight design ensures easy integration into clinical environments. Its silent operation is perfect for sensitive medical settings. With a high-capacity 500GB internal hard drive, it offers ample storage for images and videos. It has the capability to record high-definition color and black & white video and supports various diagnostic imaging systems, including ultrasound, X-ray, endoscopic, and laparoscopic equipment. Additionally, it allows for simultaneous recording to multiple storage options: internal hard drive, external USB drive, network server, or internal DVD drive.
