Sony UP-X898MD A6 black and white Thermal Printer

The UP-X898MD, UP-D898MD, and UP-D898DC are compact, medical-grade black and white digital printers, designed for integration into various medical imaging environments, including mobile C-arms, cardiac catheterization labs, and digital ultrasound systems. Their high-quality thermal print engine can produce hard copy prints of still images from these systems, suitable for patient records and referrals. These models deliver high-quality black and white prints in under two seconds. They utilize advanced thermal printing technology to achieve photo-quality results with Sony’s widely available print media. As successors to the Sony UP-897MD and UP-D897 medical printers, they have been redesigned and upgraded to offer several operational and ergonomic improvements while maintaining the same space-saving footprint and ease of integration into medical carts. The user experience is enhanced with a larger LCD display and a joystick for intuitive menu navigation. Additionally, these printers allow for the storage of printed still images on a connected USB flash drive.
